Campbell Park

The city's grand central park — open lawns, public art, and the hilltop Light Pyramid.

Campbell Park is Milton Keynes' Grade II-listed central park and one of the largest English parks laid out in modern times. Cared for by The Parks Trust, it sweeps from the city centre down towards the Grand Union Canal in a series of lawns, gardens, terraces and viewpoints.

Its hilltop Light Pyramid — a white steel beacon by the artist Liliane Lijn, first lit for the 2012 Diamond Jubilee — is illuminated for special occasions, and the park hosts some of the city's biggest events, from the autumn fireworks to summer food festivals.
